What is Rusk County Sports and Recreation?
Rusk County Sports and Recreation is an organization of citizens and civic leaders whose goal is to increase the opportunities for the youth of Rusk County to participate in athletics and healthy activities. In addition, the goal focuses on assisting in the promotion and enhancement of athletics and activities that are already present.
Why form an organization like this?
Rusk County is one of few communities that do not have an organization or governing body creating and maintaining youth athletics and outdoor activities on a community wide scale. We are fortunate that a number of individuals have put in many hard hours to create and offer the opportunities that are available, and those groups appreciate help in promoting them.
How can I get involved?
You can donate to events or volunteer. You can begin attending one of our monthly meetings. Ask any committee member for more details.
